Winter Birds in Iowa

Explore the unique world of birds that call Iowa home throughout the cold winter months. A naturalist from the Warren County Conservation Board describes the characteristics, adaptations and habitats of our fine-feathered friends. The discussion includes an explanation of the migration process. Listen to birdcalls and learn about feeding wild birds.

The presenter allows time for student questions so please come prepared.

Registrants receive the complimentary books The House I'll Build for the Wrens and Birds in Your Backyard or alternate titles.
