Arthur's April Fool

Celebrate April Fool's Day with Arthur in this interactive session featuring Arthur's April Fool by Marc Brown. Have fun discussing important story elements, creating an April Fool's story and sharing publishing and writing ideas for Arthur stories and foolin'! Don't get tricked and miss out, register as soon as possible for the fun and surprises.

Teachers registering for this event agree to provide each student with the following materials:

  • a pencil
  • 1 sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 plain paper

Teachers may wish to download and print a copy of the Character Book Directions from the Classroom Resources prepared and compiled by IPTV K-12 Connections staff.

Following the ICN session, registrants receive a complimentary Arthur book.

Sessions are provided at no cost by Iowa Public Television in collaboration with the Iowa Communications Network to PK-12 students and the adults working with or on behalf of PK-12 students in Iowa. If you are not employed by a school district or an AEA please register at library sites only.
