Parker's sectional and geological map of Iowa exhibiting iron, lead, copper, coal and other geological resources. Names of railroads-- completed, in progress and projected-- also were listed. Nathan H. Parker compiled the map using U.S. surveys and "personal reconnoisance." Inset: Map showing the connection between the Iowa and eastern railroads. 1856.
