2008 Legislative Preview: On the Thursday, January 10 edition of The Iowa Journal

(Johnston, Iowa) – Thusdays’ episode of The Iowa Journal will offer viewers a preview of the upcoming legislative session. The program airs Thursday, January 10 at 8:30 p.m. It will be rebroadcast Friday, January 11 at 9:30 p.m. on statewide IPTV-Plus and will also be available online at Iptv.org.

 

The Iowa Legislature will convene on Monday, January 14. This episode of The Iowa Journal will preview the session, looking specifically at issues related to small business. Guests on the program are  Sen. Jack Hatch (D-Des Moines), co-chair of the Legislative Commission on Affordable Health Care for Small Businesses and Families; and John Gilliland,  senior vice president of government relations for the Iowa Association of  Business and Industry.
