IPTV's New Digital Channel Lineup

January 28, 2009

Beginning February 1, Iowa Public Television will begin broadcasting our new digital channel lineup. These are the channels that will remain through the switch to all-digital.

  • IPTV (.1)--IPTV's main schedule will air on the .1 digital channel. Here's where you'll find PBS Kids programs in the daytime, documentaries, British comedies, how-to programs and more. This schedule will also air on our analog signal until the analog shut-down.
  • IPTV LEARNS (.2)--The .2 digital channel will become IPTV LEARNS. This channel will feature great how-to programs during most of the day and PBS Kids programs from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. each evening.
  • IPTV WORLD (.3)--This channel will broadcast quality local, national and international public affairs programs 24 hours a day, including IPTV's Intelligent Talk Television series.
If you subscribe to cable or satellite and are currently receiving the wrong channel, please know that we did contact satellite and cable companies with this information, but for some reason many of them didn't make the change. We are working on contacting them and hope to have the problem corrected as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience while we work this out.
