WHO: Political activists Jerry Crawford (D-Des Moines) and Doug Gross (R-Des Moines) are the guests on the next Iowa Press. Crawford is a long-time Democratic campaign advisor and former chair of the Iowa Democratic Party. Gross is a long-time Republican Party activist, former chief of staff to Governor Terry Branstad, and a former candidate for governor. Crawford and Gross will discuss the issues and campaigns of the 2010 election cycle in Iowa.
This program will be broadcast May 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 9 at 11:30 a.m. The program will also be broadcast on IPTV WORLD (.3) Saturday at 9 a.m., and will be available online at www.iptv.org.
Joining Crawford and Gross at the Iowa Press table are moderator Dean Borg, of Iowa Public Radio; Mike Glover, senior legislative and political reporter for the Associated Press; and Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa.
WHAT: The program will be broadcast Friday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 9 at 11:30 a.m. on statewide Iowa Public Television.
