Emmy Awards & Nominations for IPTV

Regional Emmy Award Recognition for
Iowa Public Television

Local programming recognized for excellence

(Johnston, Iowa)  -- The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences – Upper Midwest Chapter recently awarded the Iowa Public Television staff with Regional Emmy Awards.

Producer Andrew Batt and videographer Steve Carns were honored for their work on a Market to Market story profiling “Honor Flights” to Washington, D.C. from rural America. The piece earned an Emmy in the “Public/Current/Community Affairs – Single Story/Feature/Segment” category.

Host/producer Paul Yeager and producers Nancy Crowfoot, Judy Blank, Sara Frasher, and Nancy Brown were honored for their work on the Iowa Public Television series The Iowa Journal. The program earned an Emmy in the “Public/Current/Community Affairs – Program/Special/Series.”

Other Iowa Public Television professionals received nominations for the 2010 Regional Emmy Awards. They were:
