Iowa's Mission US Teacher of the Year!

Iowa Public Television has named Sarah Carlson the Mission US Educator of the Year for the State of Iowa, in recognition of her outstanding efforts to use the innovative new multimedia resource, Mission US, to enrich the teaching of American history with students at Riverbend Middle School in Iowa Falls, IA.Sarah Carlson is one of ten educators across the country to be selected as local Mission US Educator of the Year. Of these ten finalists, one will be named the National Mission US Educator of the Year and invited to speak at WNET.ORG’s annual Celebration of Teaching & Learning in New York City, to be held in March 2011.
