IPTV and PBS are known for quality educational programming. The following programs are perfectly suited for incorporation into STEM lessons:

STEM Education Resource Center
The PBS STEM Education Resource Center features hand-picked multimedia, games, teachers' guides and more for grades PreK-12, or search the entire PBS Teachers database to find hundreds of standards-based, online resources with connections to the PBS broadcast programs you have come to depend on.

Explore More
Explore More is an award-winning multimedia project designed to engage students in STEM related problems they can relate to, provide compelling content for investigation, and give students opportunities to form their own points of view. Topics included in Explore More are:

School to Careers
School to Careers is a career development project for 7-12th grade students, educators and parents. Through the Web site, students are introduced to career professionals and projects and ideas that help them identify their interests and plan for their futures. With over 200 careers featured, School to Careers includes many STEM related careers, such as: Connections to Science
The Connections to Science online video series targets science students in grades 3-5 and grades 6-8. Each STEM-related clip is designed to meet the learning needs of your students. Topics included:

  • Engineering design process

ICN Videoconferencing Events
IPTV offers interactive, educational sessions via the Iowa Communications Network (ICN). ICN Sessions, many of which are STEM related, are provided at no cost
