2011 Iowa State Dance Team Championships to Debut
on Statewide Iowa Public Television
Viewer favorite will air Saturday, February 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 6 at 2 p.m.

(Johnston, Iowa) - Iowa Public Television will broadcast exclusive television coverage of the 2011 Iowa State Dance Team Championships on Saturday, February 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 6 at 2 p.m.
        The Championships showcase the creativity and athletic abilities of Iowa's highest-ranked high school dance and drill teams. For this 35th annual competition, 5000 dancers from 270 Iowa high schools and 20 Iowa college teams performed for judges at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
        Iowa Public Television's coverage includes a two-hour broadcast with highlights from all of this year's winning performances, as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews.
        Program hosts are Kathy Enyart (executive director of the Iowa State Dance Team Association), Lois Turnage (president of the Iowa State Dance Team Association) and Scott Enyart (event announcer).
