This is a thirty minute play based on the life of Iowan Henry A. Wallace who was vice president of the United States from 1941 to 1945 and secretary of agriculture from 1933 to 1940. The play is adapted by Cynthia Mercati from the book American Dreamer: The Life and Times of Henry A. Wallace by former Iowa Senator John C. Culver and John Hyde. Secretary of agriculture 1933 to 1940, Secretary of Commerce in 1945 and 1946.
