Series Description: LAND BETWEEN TWO RIVERS: PART 1 is a geological and natural history of Iowa which focuses on four major rivers in the state: the Des Moines, the Upper Iowa, the Nishnabotna and the Little Sioux. The commentary of geologists, naturalists and other specialists provides information about glacial activity, the areas' early inhabitants and the impact of modern civilization on the environment.
