Our Kids
Our Kids, produced by IPTV and funded by the Iowa Department of Education, will guide teachers and administrators through the requirements, expectations and strategies for success with English language learners (ELLs). It will help prepare educators to assist ELLs, who spend most of the school day in content area classrooms, to learn both English and content. By preparing a welcoming educational environment, teachers can help new students achieve learning goals, become better English speakers, and adapt to a new culture.
